Need some sugestions....
ok heres the deal... i had problems with my flopy drive, got frustrated and now my case is in a few peices (computer is fine) so i wanna build a new case from scratch. im thinking wood, metal, and black. ive got a basic idea and im just looking for sugestions on building and i really need help with the electronics... led's, power button, stuff like that. i plan on being able to put 4 hardirves in and would like a light for each. any help on any of this, building suplies, wiring, anyhting would be great.

that's a lot of questions that could take hours to answer correctly.
any momentary SPST switch will work for your power button. for LEDs, most will work with any mobo. however, blue leds usually need more voltage that your mobo can deliver to light correctly. generally one would try an LED first to see if it lights up. if not, then a simple transistor amplifier will light it up: http://www.vhforums.net/cgi-bin/ikon...t=ST;f=16;t=13 here's a good thread on modding for multiple HDD LEDs: http://www.vhforums.net/cgi-bin/ikon...f=2;t=1086;hl=

servercase has plenty of yy cubes
I think the YY has a few hdd lights, you'd need to talk to an owner to find out for sure.
