I had a recent brainstorm on a 5 1/4 res: what if it had two tubes, with a slit cut in each, to allow the coolant to exit equally? The problem is that it wouldn't have a fill point.
Something like this: |

Hrmm...
Well...sonix, have you gotten anywhere on your reservoir. If not, www.case-mod.com now has them available, professionally made, in junction with dtek customs. If you have made one, or are already in process I may get one from you still, if not though, that is fine, and dont worry about it.
The price on them is kinda high, but not too bad for something new. Anyway, just in case anyone else want to see one http://www.case-mod.com/store/produc...roducts_id=341 hope this does not bother you any sonix, i know you were working on em, guess they beat you. |

heh yeah they must've read this thread . Oh well. I can still make them and sell them for cheap. Theirs are expensive. Their design isnt that great either. I havent had time to go to my friend's shop to get the edges done. I'm thinkingof buying my own edger to make them. I could get them laser inscribed too but i'd have to check on pricing for that. I'll try to be back with more solid details later.

I like those drive bay reservoirs they have there, but since I prefer to submerge my pumps, I doubt I could fit my profin pump in one, not to mention that I wouldnt want to try and break the seal anyway to put on in it.
The res I have now has a very small leak. I tried sealing the barbs with Plasticoat, but I think I missed a little spot or it pitted and a small air tunnel made a path for fluid to get out. I want to just replace it with something nice, clear and professional looking anyway but nobody seems to have what I'm looking for. I'd love to get a nice 4x4x4 sturdy, clear, res with 1/2" barbs on it that I can submerge my pump in. Something with a top that is removable with a seal around it so that I can drop my pump in it and maybe has a little fill hole to add coolant. I'd love to see the res with relatively thick walls for added strength. Anybody seen such a thing? I have no confidence in my ability to make one that is clean and professional looking, so that isnt an option. If only I can get Sonix to actually make me one and not just talk about making one *hint hint* -Ice-

Thanks Raccoon. I was also wondering what the quality was like on one of those.
I still need to find a nice clear res to drop my submersible pump in. The one I made out of a 4x4x4 electric box isn't as nice as I would have liked it to be. -Ice-
