Default Experience with a chilled brine system ??

Anyone have experience using brine for sub-zero cooling ?

A salt solution to lower the freezing point, but upon reflection glycol/alcohol is probably better. I need to do a bit of research on the coolant.

I wish to use a recirculating chiller and run it at -20C, and my question should have been phrased differently.

A medium sized refrigerated bath, plus a pump, can deliver 200W at -30C.
Anyone tried it ?

Have you considered that you will create a very ionic solution using brine? That will tarnish your system before you can say, "BOO".

corrosion corrosion and i do not think the specific heat capacity is any better than plain water
