Default Snap Server ISCSI

I have a SNAP Server running Guardian OS Version 4.1.106, I am using it for NFS and ISCSI. The issue is while NFS and ISCSI have been working I recently lost access to ISCSI a few days ago. I can still configure the information from the web interface but the appliance is not listening on port 3260 anymore. I can't telnet on port 3260 so all my attempts to connect to the ISCSI disk fail, I don't see anything in the logs and was wondering if there is a way to start the service from SSH.

I figured out the issue, it was with the /etc/iready.conf I was missing a line from the # Portal definitions and #Target definitions.. Added those lines and stop and started the iready service, did a netstat -antp | grep 3200 and saw it was listening on the port for connections. Everything is up now.

Do you know what caused the loss of connection?

I am having this exact same issue and wanted to know if you might be able to help since I am even more of a noob to snap servers. We got this from a merger and it worked at first then someone tripped over the power cable and now I am having the same issue as you. Can you please help me out and let me know how to configure the file below. I have admin access via both HTTPS and also SSH and very familiar with linux based systems but cannto seem how to get to shell that will allow me to access these files. Any help would be gratley appreciated.

If iSCSI was working I would double check the link, remove and add it back in. It sounds like your network configuration changed.

For shell access you need to make sure the SSH is turned on.

"ssh admin@ipaddress" , enter password when prompted.
"osshell" ,
"su root" your now in.

Work with caution you can do a lot of damage quickly with the wrong commands. These cmds work for v5, On v3 once you ssh you were ready to go, v4 they changed a few things to make it more difficult for the casual user to gain access. Now these are not setup like a desktop Linux box. So you may want to snoop around a bit before making any changes so your familiar with the different layout.
