thermal compound app?
I'm using AS3 for my cpu interface and when I first install the
waterblock the Athlon 1700+ will work 100% stable @ 208x11.5. Then after a day or so, the system will crash and I have to lower the cpu speed. I take off the waterblock and reapply the AS3 and all is ok @ 208x11.5 again. I am applying the AS3 very thin, but I am still having problems with it. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. |

it could be the buildup in heat in your water. By the time you take it apart, the temp goes back down to a stable temp level. This really could be a scenario on any one of the components that is overheating. It could have nothing to do with the compound. I bet if you just turned your crashed computer off for 15 minutes, you would get the same results. Have you tried that?

Thanks for the suggestions.
I normally use Super Pi to test. I will try Prime95 and let the system cool down completely the next time it starts resetting. |
