Default Condensation Prevention

http://www.techwarelabs.com/articles...on_prevention/
The article does not state what size Peltier is used and he is not getting extremely cold temperatures. If setup properly for very cold temperatures how well do you think this would work?

like that would work well, you could get that nice and air tight.

Perhaps he should fill it with silica gel to absorb the moisture.

A couple of guys on other forums take this approach, but stick there entire setup inside a properly sealed box, suck out the air using a proper vacuum pump and then replace the air with nitrogen. Condensation comes from the humidity in the air, remove the air, remove the condensation. Simple.

If you stick it in a sealed box (truly sealed) then don't worry about pumping out the air. A standard computer case @ 50% humidity has something like 0.005 ml of water in it.

I've got a sealed box unit I'm creating. Seems to work well.
