Default Big big big peltier

I've looked high and low, and it seems 120watt peltiers are all I can find.. I'd really like a 200watt.. 50mm is fine, even 24v would be acceptable.. Anyone got some links to places that have something like this? Or is this a hopeless goal?

I've got a powersupply to power your pelt(s). Its 24v and has 2 5"x5"xsomething transformers, don't know if they are 12v in series or what but I know the size of these bitches they have to have a mad amount of amperage. AND ITS RACK MOUNT. It is a heavy son of a gun, and did I mention I have two? I've been using it to test some motors for a battle-type robot lately.

24V psu?? -> 19/20V psu??

these things cost a lot...

156W 12/12.9V are much easier to power..

why dont use 2 120W's...

its industrial use PSU, not a computer PSU. Hence the rackmount plates.

Yeah.. I got 2 48 V rack mount supplies... messing with them now.. hopefully have them usable soon

20 pounds each.. mil spec FAA equipment from '85... each will push 5 amps at 48V (linear supplies, of course..).. hehe.

i took a 24V 7.5A power supply and added a variable ac "autoformer"...this allows me to vary the ac voltage going in as input to the power supply, thus giving me a 0-24V unit...the good thing is that this can me used in a variety of applications...the bad thing is that it's very crude...I had to build the thing, so it looks kind of bulky...and my wife gets a fearful look when I turn it on,heh
