Damn this stuff is expensive in the UK- Im getting it in though (ocpc anyway), it might even work out cheaper next time to ship it in a 100m roll from the US.
Anyone got a working link ?? |

ive looked around at USplastic and McMaster, and USplastic has better prices. are there any other places that sell this stuff @ low prices?
also, some-1 should find out what the difference is between the R-1000 (used for peristaltic pumps) and R-3603 (lab grade) formulations, becuase the 3603 is much cheaper than the R-1000 formulation, and looks to have the characteristics we're looking for. |

1/2 ID 3/4 OD the good stuff
im waiting till im done with my case to sell anymore.. but how much did you want? its $3 a foot i think the price i set was. ill probably endup buying another 50-100 foot roll if i get alot of people who want it and sell it cheaper then what you pay for buying a little section.. just need to know who wants what and need the $$ then ill cut it up and ship it out. |

oh the R-1000 is low psi. i just looked it up forgot which one it was.
that stuff only handles 10psi @ 73F who knows what it handles @ 100F+ dont know how hot water is comming outa a WB tho. the R-3603 could handle err 25 psi @ 73 F i think. i remembered that was why i ordered the 3603 instead of the 1000. |

from USplastic, the 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD R-1000 tygon tubing costs $3.73 per foot (must buy in 10-foot lengths tho).
the 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD R-3603 tygon tubing costs $2.91 per foot (must buy in 10-foot lengths as well). stuff looks nice; i just wish i wouldve know about it befor. couldve saved the $14 i spent on silicone and got some tygon (and i might still get some...maybe lol) |

wonder why the R-1000 is more.. it cant handle as high as psi and cant bend as well.. must be mainly for chemical resistance stuff.just go with the R-3603. its better if you get it.

actually the 3603 stuff is for lab. but yeah, im wondering the same thing as you.
the R-1000 cant take as high a PSI becuase its softer (and thus probably has a tighter bending radius). but even if you did sell your stuff for 10 cents more (o wow lol), id still save money (since i only need like 6 feet of the stuff). maybe you could price match also, you could get 3/32" thick R-3603 for $2.13 in 10-ft lengths. i wonder how it conpares to 1/8" thick silicone in terms of bend radius? (cuz i got myself a somewhat tight bend lol) |

Does tygon tubing block any UV? I read somewhere(dont know where) that dyelite isnt as bright as with vinyl.

I think I posted above that my dyelite doesn't appear very bright at all.
