With that high of a swing between idle and load something is definately off.

Have you tried remounting the block (maybe its sitting on an angle)?

Have you checked to see if there is flow through your block - how much? Possible blockage somewhere?

Can you tell us more about the current design of your block (pictures or drawings)?

What size tubing are you running, did you bleed the air out of the system, etc...?

I would check those before making a complete new block. If you are set on making a new block, #rotor style blocks are supposed to be good and require mainly a drill press to make.

I hope that is just a bad drawing. If not the main area that needs cooling is not getting cooled. Suggest you do a #Rotor style block.
