Looks nifty. For better flow, use swept fittings for the 90 degree bends.

looks nice...
but my question to you is how flat are the sides of the HD you want to cool? I found with maxtor drives only about 10-20% of the drive will get contact with the plate.

Perhaps some kind of TIM would help cope with the drive surface inperfections?

that would be quite the tim...
mabe some copper foil... thin enough to get squeezed and flattend in the high spots... i estimate the diffrences to be between .2 to .4 mmin distance... that would be quite a bit for some AS5 to be used... but to use that in conjuction with copper foil .1mm thick.... hmmmm makes me want to water cool my HD again... i have a stack of 6 1/8" appart with a 120mm fan blowing on them...

I really dont think the harddrives generate enough heat to make the non-100%-contact issue a problem.
