Default Duron 1300 Morgan unlock troubles

I have attached a picture of the layour of my bridges on this cpu. The main difference i noticed is that it has 5 L1 bridges.

I have tried pencil mod and it wouldnt boot (dead) cleaned it off and it worked fine.

Tried conductive pen trace ink with a pin tip, and still same thing.

is there something i am missing? i have unlocked my duron 950 no problem and it had 4 L1 bridges

any input would help thanks

I am going to post a revised pic with all the birdges in a while, and i also forgot that the lower right bridge labeled as L1 and a large red line is supposed to be L10 i think

Last I heard about the 1300 is that you have to CUT bridges to unlock it.

Which i'm kinda glad I gave it to my mom and got an XP1800 instead.

Well im not sure how that can be... since the birdges are all cut on this CPU i have.

But i read on a site about amd possibly removing pins to stop unlocking the multiplyer, I dont know if this is true.

Maybe someone here has some info on this i would appreciate it.

If you want to access muliplier 12.5x and below, you must cut the L10 bridge which is connected and connect the one which is open.
This will remove 8x from the multiplier, which will make it 5x.
Found this on Overclocker's forum...I think this is what I was refering to.

Ok thanks man

I see why there is troubles unlocking any cpu that uses a multiplyer over 12.5

i have tried the pin mod suggested in that forum link you gave above, but that didn't help.

I will try cutting the birdge but it is going to be a pain.
