Default old P4 1.8 OR new Celeron 2.2?

thats right!

for the same price i can get a P4 1.8 256 kb cache, or one of this new Celerons 2.2 256 kb cache.

Both are 400 mhz buz.

I have to choose one of these and it will not be overclocked.

What do you recomend?

Yes if the P4 is a 512 kb cache one (still havent checked) i will go for that too.
But everithing points out to be a normal 1.8 256 kb cache.

But EY, with that diference in performance, surelly all P4 are better then cellery...

Thanks.

i think you should also consider pn count.
is the old 1.8 Ghz p4 a 423 Pin count or 478 pin count?

478.

The board that i will give has a 478 package, so the cheap proc must be a 478 also.
