Default Whats the difference in these Iwaki Pumps?

http://www.customaquatic.com/custom...&subcatID=wp-aq
(if there is some place cheaper let me know)

Rumor is the MD-20RZ is pretty much the best you can buy.

My question is what is the difference in these two models:

WP-IKMD20RLZ
WP-IKMD20RLZT

In the details of the part its listed either as the MD-20RZ or MD-20RZT

Both cost the same but I cant find the rated specs for them.

So which one would I want to buy?

Also I'm still new to the Watercooling scene so this is gonna sound uber noob but what all would need to be done to use this pump... I know with the 12V pumps they can just hook up to the PSU... with this one will I just be able to plug it in to the wall and use a relay with it or do I have to have some kind of power converter thing?

The MD20RLZ is provided with barbed inlet/outlets. Note is states hose connections.

MD20RLZT has threaded inlet/outlets.

Performance is the same.

Yeah that is about the right price for a new one retail. keep checking ebay though, they do pop up every now and then for much better pricing.

I'm still learning alot but if I bought the one that isnt threaded what all do I need to do to it to use 1/2" tubing?

Can I get a 3/4" to 1/2" female reducer and then thread that with a 1/2" barb? ... or is that wrong or did I use the wrong terms? lol... like I said... still learning... only been seriously reading about WCing for 2 1/2 days.

the non-"t" version has 18mm (OD) barbs - so basically you'd need to stretch the tubing over them (with the help of some hot water or whatever..)
