Default a few pelt questions....

ok my pelt setup is almost complete, i just need a few things figured out....

ok first, would two 172 peltiers really make that much of a differance over 1?

also, i know you can hook up two pc psu together, but what about gerneral psus, like this one: http://www.mpja.com/product.asp?product=12841+PS

lastly, for condensation do i have to isulate the pins? ive heard of people coating their pins with something to insulate them, it that neccesary?

thanks
-Josh

yes two would make the temps much better, you'd need two of those psu's for each pelt

it is an idea to insulate the pins, especially if you are after sustained temps below ambient

take it easy man. And if you need help controlling condensation, let me know. I'll try to help you out as best as i can.

Tell me how that goes dude.

Might be interested in trying something like that. If your motherboard turns into an ice cube and breaks in half I'll know not to try it.
