What do you guys think??
Dtek TC4 Rev2 CPU waterblock
Swiftech MCW50-T GPU waterblock 2x120MM radiator, viewed here: http://home.comcast.net/~wa261/new.JPG ViaAqua 1300? (160GPH I think) 1/2" ID, 5/8" OD tubing from Home Depot this is cooling a: NF7 rev2 Mobile 2400+ (was first to break 3ghz on phase change, http://www.fastlanehw.com/reviews.php?i=102 ) ATi 9800 Pro this is all gotta fit inside a Lian Li PC-60, except for the 2x120mm radiator dont know how well the Dtek waterblock will do, I'd like to get a cascade at some point, or Cathar's next block, but I just don't have the money right now. |

Hey Stang Man,
Welcome to ProCooling... IMO you're asking for trouble mixing a water-cooled CPU block and a water-cooled TEC VGA block on the same loop. The TEC will dump a lot of heat into the water, which will raise your overall water temps - not good for the CPU block. Even at 80 watts the MCW50-T may compromise the water-cooling system performance for cooling the CPU. At least you have a big dual 120mm fan radiator which will help. Personally, I'd go two waterblocks or two water-cooled TECs (CPU and GPU). Good luck. |
