Radeon 8500 Vmem mod (Pics!)

and I ended up with this





only did the vmem part so far will do the gpu voltage another day. but I'm very happy with the mod I used a 1kohm resistor and a 1kohm pot for adjustment. couldnt really get anythiung over 250Mhz mem (stock for oem 8500) 265 has artifacts now I'm running 300MHz perfect with stock cooling so nothing is cooling the ram but airflow from fans a 120mm and a 92mm. w00t

do you think it is your ram or core that is now holding you back from above 300?

my gpu is still at 275 once I put some real cooling on it and vmod it I'm sure it will go above 300. The Ram is still at 300mhz bc with 305Mhz I get articats but remeber this is still only stock cooling and I can still turn the pot and up the rams voltage so maybe I'll get 320/320 that would be damn sweet!
