Heatsink/ Heat Pipe / ThermoSiphon Cooling The cat will only make the mistake of putting its paw by your HSF once. :) Also the place to discuss the new high end heat pipe goodness. |

German noise blocker fans?
I've read some real good comments on the noise blocker fans made in Germany. I went to their site and they look sharp as well with their blue semi transparent blades and all. But the most important thing to me is they are also said to be amoung the most quiet of fans.
Does anyone know where there is a english speaking site that carrys these fans? Wish I could speak german at the moment. |

I have the email of a guy who sells them here (if you're refering to Verax fans). They are supposed to be quiet, yes, but move virtually no air. Overclockers.com really proved that.
They are expensive on top of it: $30 single 80mm fan, $60 for the P14 HSF combo, but I'm telling you, runs MUCH hotter than a Zalman. Nifty, though. I do have it though, if you're interested. |

i have got two of the Noiseblocker S2-Fans, they are really good... the S2 is quite silent and pulls out enough air @ 12v. @ 7v they are as quiet as the most silent Papst Fans, e.g for silencing down your PSU and as Case-coolers they are really perfect in my opinion
there are newer Models like the S3 ( the one with fancontrol and the semitransparent blades) too, but i dont have tested them jet... (sorry about my english by the way ) Last edited by whitegrey; 11-25-2002 at 05:21 PM. |

Your english is just fine by me Whitegrey, and welcome to these boards. I am very glad to hear from someone who has used their fans themselves.
Now if I can find a way go get some at reasonable cost to try is the next thing. Thanks again for your response. |
