newboy needs help on heatsink removal
Hi,
I have a Intel D875PBZ MOTHERBOARD. I need to remove the chipset heatsink to be able to install the Swiftec water block. I think it might be riverted on. Has any one got some advice on this for me. Is this the correct part of the forum to ask this question.!! Best regards Explorer |

are the pins just barely sticking out the back?
Do they look like '(|)' (split in middle, plastic?) for the underside view? Just a needlenose pliers to squeeze the '( )' together and push thru to the front - should be easy if that is the way they are mounted. Hope this helps....
