wow NOONE else? I also have an older 1600+. It is an AGKGA stepping, and it does around 1615 or so with water cooling and 1.95V or so.

Well I haven't pushed mine as hard as it will go, but...

AGOIA stepped
1743mhz (10.5x166 @default voltage)
watercooled.

Being able to hit the 166 stable at stock volttage tells me I have a long way to go with this chip

i have an agoia 1800+ and it has loads of trouble getting much above 1750MHz (at 1.85) so i guess its only the 1600's benifiting from the agoia stepping.

Well my Dual AGIOA 'Y' setup is getting 1.575 @ 150MHz FSB, highest this MSI K7D will do intend on unlocking them after I give them some more burn-in at that speed

Edit - Been told I should be able to get a Multi of 11.5 at least out of them so that would be a good little increase in performance, currently it's turning out wu's in under 4HR's a proc.

My AGIOA 'Z' was doing 1.75 @ 166MHz FSB out of the box, had stability issues with the board, waiting to pick up a DDR board to see what it can really do. That was on an Iwill KK266-R, hoping to pick up a Dragon Lite and give it another shot.

it must be luck of the draw, my 1500+ used to do 161fsb stable on the same mobo/ram combi (until i fried it) so it must be the cpu holding me back. no problem though, i am mucho happy as it.

I think it does hold true tho that the 1600+'s are the biggest bang for the buck

Hence why I currently own three

Yep and it's been rock solid stable for months now and now that I'm getting the awsome temps off my new block it should be good for a few more
