freckleface.com - Lexan

I started searching for Lexan distributors and ran across this website. I compared prices with McMaster-Carr and found out that if your buying smaller sized sheets of polycarbonate, they have a pretty decent advantage.

Good note - minimum $15
Bad note (for non-US peeps) - US shipment only

I haven't purchased anything from them but I was wondering if anybody had run across, bought anything from, or heard about their business. It's a company based in Cleveland, Ohio, out of a warehouse/factory and they don't accept phone orders so I was a little hesitant at first.

Anybody have any info on this company?

I know this is an old post but has anyone purchased from this company? They don't have a min. order anymore and their prices are a lot cheaper than onlinemetals. I wonder how much shipping is.

I'd suggest you look into picking up some Lexan at E-bay. I've bought several lots of differant thicknesses there at very discounted prices.

What they are selling of cheaply is remanents from sheets where most of the sheet was used up for whatever project required it. So they sell it very cheaply.

I've picked up 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2" sizes.

I hope this is of some help to you.

Or if you just need a small amount, let me know by PM, I can most likly cut it and ship it to you.

McMaster, otherwise is on the up-and-up, yes (I've ordered from them on numerous occasions). The sample sheets are priced nicely, but otherwise follow BE's advise, above.
