GPU block design
Ok, going to make the GPU block for the Radeon 9800 pro I just bought, was gonna run it by you guys for input
I made it on fireworks, so it is to scale but in 2D. All of the measurements are accurate. It is essentially a #rotor block, but I need help on a few measurements. The holes are 4 mm diameter and there are 30 of them. I can be fairly accurate in cutting them. I'm not sure what thickness copper I need(9mm?), or the final thickness of the base needs to be. I know that I need to get some thick polycarbonate for the top and some thin stuff for the nozzles, so I am browsing onlinemetals.com right now. How would flow be in a block like this? Would my WW notice the pressure drop much? it would be after the WW. This is the top:

If you're going to be using either of these blocks with a cpu block I hope you have a Hydrothruster or big fat Iwaki pump. Both of those blocks would be extremely flow resistive, but would definately cool well on their own loops.

Would they really be? What if the base was quite thick? Would it be more restrictive than my whitewater? I have a hard time believing that.
