I thought about cross country but I don't have the endurance. You are right I am fast, faster then most people I know. I can run like 100 YDs faster then most people but I run like a 15minute mile! However if I am off road like on mountain trails covered with rocks I can run for a long long time. I have no idea why maybe just cause it is fun.

LOL ECU... funny you should mention cross country, because I used to run distance in track, and yes, I was built much like the rest of the distance team/cross contry team. Problem was, I hated it, and I was way too slow,(I could chug along forever, but never very quickly) and never came close to scoring a single point. I guess I could be fast if I wanted to, because I have long legs, but it was never anything I really enjoyed.
But, since weight isn't anywhere near a problem for me now, I don't excercise at all, unless you count running around in tribes 2 excercise. Some of my friends harass me about my lazy lifestyle, (and my ex-girlfriend was always saying how there was nothing to me... lol) but I don't really care, they all play sports anyway. *pfft* I'll just stick to my electronics and other geek-like activities. |

Interesting thread I must say
Well as for myself, I'm shortish (about 5'10") weigh far too much, around 220. Upper arm was just over 15" and lower about 12.5" But all my weight is in my legs from downhill skiing and soccer; 26" around mid quad and 19.5" calve. And I'm almost 18. Gf wants me to loose wieght too - Maybe It will be a good thing

my calf is only 13.5", thats 2 inches larger than my bicep. How about this, how many of you have a big farmer muscle? There is prolly a technical term but all the rednecks I know call it a farmers muscle. You make a 90 with your arm, then flex you arm and turn your them towards your chest. Look at your elbow if you don't see anything special you don't have a big farmers muscle if you see a big bulge you do. You get if from, lifting and throwing hay bails, shoveling, and hammering mostly. I have pretty big ones but a few of my friends are bigger. I know guys who are champion weight lifters that don't even have them. My farmers muscle protrudes like 3/4" from the rest of my arm when I flex, if I had a working camera I would take a pic of it(damn mom dropped it in the toilet)

hmmm... you weren't very clear... what do you do? flex out to the side w/ 90degree elbow, and then what? Rotate so your forearm is parallel to the ground, palm down....? I did that and I have a bulge at the elbow. The muscle is part of the forearm and governs your wrist motion... palm facing down, curl your wrist up and back. You can see it also if you hold your arm straight out to the side, palm down.
...or is the muscle you're talking about part of the tricep (back of arm)?

I guess its true how the media portrays most computer geeks (a la whats-his-name from the Lone Gunmen)! I seem to go against the type tho' - 21" biceps cold with 38" thighs. People tend to move out of my way, but I can never find off-the-rack (read inexpensive) clothes. But people also think I am about 10 yrs. younger than I am, so that's kind of nice!

I am little but I don't back down. People are usually thrown by that and just give up. Like kids at school who try and start shit with my I just get right back in there faces and tell them I am not afraid of them. They usually don't know what to think and just go away.

Um, dude, I measured around my hips... that's around the biggest part of my butt and my hips, and I was only 39.5". You say you powerlift, cool. 38" thighs are monstrous. How tall are you, what do you weigh, and what r u lifting? trucks?

Ok, at the thickest, I'm 24.5" at the thigh. I was measuring close to the knee earlier.
17... congrats. You're getting there. Good luck w/ college ball. Any idea where you want to play? Pullups, rows, and shrugs w/ no wrist straps will bulk up your forearms.... anything where you have to hang on to weight.

My last spam thread, "drunk as hell, but no throwin' up", had tons of views, but I think Joe deleted it because it was getting out of hand. ...It mysteriosly vanished.

I'll play anywhere that I get offered to go basically, my GPA isnt exactly awe inspiring, so I'm just trying to be hopeful.
And I was guessing about my forearms, I think they're bigger, didnt do too good a job of measuring, slight bit of 'fun' from the night before left in me when i did it lol |
