Default where to get copper plates

hi all

i've been wantin' to build an hd block ala getto but i can't seem to find copper plates at a reasonable price, i need 1/4 inch thick plate. can some one point mt to the right direction.

Or you can goto any metal shop in your area. Any place that works in metals: Welding shops, Machining shops, etc.

thans for the info guys. i checked out online metal and found a few options in there but i also found some metal places in my area, i'll check them out and see which is the best option for me.

Believe it or not, you can get copper bar stock at a reasonable price off of ebay.

Here, did the search for ya.
