well ive forgot about this whole 2.4B C1 quest. it seems my brother is ordering a dell with a 1.8A... the 2350 system, just outta nowhere. well u know wut im goin have to do swap that motha with this 1.6A and im all set, hope it aint no dud.

if i get 3.5ghz or so, like that one guy, man... im goin.....

only thing i need now is a motherboard to go with it. either asus P4PE or the abit IT7-max2 v2.0. tuff decision on which one to get.

well its kinda outta my range in price, and still not alot of online retailers carry it still. i think it would just be better to wait til theres a second generation dual channel ddr chipset to come out thats less expensive, along with the fact that 800mhz fsb P4's should be around H2 2003. you decide.

its a good bet the IT7-MAX2 V2.0 will be the one. that guy only needed 1.625 to get his 1.8 to 3.5 stable, and with memory voltages up to 3.2, with some PC-3500.. mmm mm m

I dont know about you, but everything that I have read about memory overvolting is that I would NOT recommend running your Vmem anywhere near 3.2V.

Just thought I should mention that

what a disapointment... i got a P4PE from a local store. i was expecting to overclock more then i have on my BD7, but this is not the case... it dosnt like the memory over 190, and on the BD7 i had it at 215. is this a bad board, or is it the bios? im about ready to go get a IT72...
