Being something that is fairly inexpenxive, I'd just go to My local hardware store, Where I can get them for just pennies, If I were buying them with a block or other water cooling parts, I don't know. It just depends on which is cheaper and I'm really frugal with money.

What? My local hardware stores (Home Depot, Lows, ACE, ect) charges a fortune for brass connectors and they don't stock 1/4" NPT 1/2" barbs. Only place I can get them is at NAPA for $3.75 each. I can get them for $1 in a few places but they are closed only times I can get there. Would rather pay $.50 for them off the net anyway being I would buy $20 worth at a time. Not worth it for just a couple though.

I should have mentioned that I bought Polypropylene in 1/4"NPT with 3/8" barbs, I didn't think to look for ones with 1/2" barbs though. And this was about 6 or so months back too.

You can also look in the phone book under Hose. Most hose shops carry all types of barbs. I got an exellent one here in town but they have the same hours I do at work. They got or can get just about anything you want. Should be hose shops in any semi big City. This city is only 350,000 person and you can find anything here if you look hard enough.
