Enermax 120mm w/ speed control...

How quite is it really? Some sites say at its lowest speeds, 34dB, some say 22dB...

Cant comment on numbers but I can say that personally I can barely hear it running with my ear right next to it at its lowest setting. I have one of these modded into my case cooling my 15K cheetahs. I can hear my pump over this fan, Ehiem 1250.

i dont have the adjustable ver., but i do have serveral 120mm enermax fans. at full speed they are kinda loud i guess (no prob for me; i sleep next to a delta black label ), but not nearly as 'annoying' as the delta screamers. hmm...its subjective i suppose; i have no more info about its specs than you do.

Yeah... thats what I've recently been noticing... When I bought, they all said 22dB... and I've never thought it was that quiet. though, I've never used another 120mm to compare... (until recently the fan on my vid card was the loudest fan in my case and droned out the 120mm, thank you epoxied U1 athlon cooler )...

Based upon experience, I'd say that there are probably fans decently quieter.

They aren't all that quiet at full speed (40dBish I think) but they are ok at the minimum speed. 22dB might be correct for them with the pot turned all the way down.
