all the milling info you'd ever wanted.

Bumped into this page when looking for endmills in Denmark (can't find em :*( )

There should be info enuf here to satisfy just about anybody

Does anyone know where i can order endmills from within Europe, I can't seem to find a good website like grizzle that has offers like those 20 pieces 2 flute 4 flute for about 50 bucks - thx

Ask Jfettig, he gave me a nice url. I live in Sweden and I couldn't find any solid carbide cutters here, but the the site I ordered from had them, and very very cheap too! The shipping was like 9 bucks from the states so its exactly the same price as here in Sweden. Weird but I don't mind.

almost the only place I shop at

take a look for the 'solid carbide' end mills, no name stuff. its actually pretty good.

Christ theres many different endmills ! i need the advice of an expert here - what should i get - like the 20 piece 2&4 flute set from littlemachineshop, for nobbs like me?

last question i promise how the h* do i convert the measures to the metric system?

3/64, 7/32 an so on really means nothing to me O_o i work better with 'mm'

Bah, it was working this morning. It's a stand alone program that does conversions... ALL types.

I knew about the google thing... but sometimes I'm not connected to the net on my laptop.

So you are from scandinavia? Take a look at this swedish shop http://www.jula.se/ , searh for " fräsmaskin " and you will get two hits one mill for 3995:- swedish crowns, and one for 14095:- sek, ex shipping.

Hej its more about the bits you use with a mill - 'endmills' - whats those called in swedish, danish is 'endefræsere' ellers tak

hey HEY! scratch that about endmills, i got 6 endmills from JSTmachinery.com saturday (and found 'em sunday) dumped into my mailbox and ive testet them today sundag with my drillpress+"x-y vise" works like a charm except for precision heh - cuts like butter.
