Yeah, looks to be for 1/2" OD 3/8" ID. I dont think they make them anymore due to the new resevior.

correct, 1/2" OD but as they are barbed the 3/8" ID is the important dimension
if they are on the site they are still available - they are |

I visited the US Plastics web site to see if they had the stuff I need to build something that was (or appeared) similar, and I *think* these are the parts I want:
60817 - Colder 1/2" Polyprop Hose Barb Straight Thru - 1.86 Lgt - Coupling Insert (qty 2) 80689 - Colder 1/2" Polyprop In Line Hose Barb Shutoff - 2.82 Lgt - Coupling Body (qty 2) 17234 - Hayward stopcock valve kit (qty 1) The stopcock kit looks fairly huge, so I'd be interested in hearing about something similar that takes less space. NOTE: US Plastics also has the tee hose barbs, but since I already have some of those, I didn't include them in my parts list.

How much do those parts total, and are they half inch inside diameter? I mine was goin to be a bit to big to fit in a drive bay because it uses a 1/2 ID ball valve. |

Total cost is about $50, not counting the tubing, and all the parts I listed have 1/2" hose barbs. I use 1/2" tygon tubing, so I wonder how tight I can make the bends.
I'm almost positive it won't fit in a drive bay once it's all assembled. The quick disconnects are fairly large on their own, but the stopcock I found would be the ultimate controlling factor.

wow thats kinda expensive, mine is goin to cost me about $11-1$5 using parts from mcmaster-carr.
The stop cock is what you are using to stop the normal flow in order for it to be bled correct? Thats the only thing that is keeping me from putting mine in my drive bay, just couldnt find a ball valve small enough with a 1/2 flow through it. |

The stopcock measures 4 inches across with a hose barb on each side, and you need to buy the NPT hose barbs for half-inch tubing because the hose barbs that come with it are only a max 7/16" ID (and appear to be designed to accept smaller ID tubing).
BTW, the Hayward stopcock is rated at 150 psi.

Should be a nice setup, i would get some more felxible tubing for it as the tygon is goin to be tuff to get good bends with.
I think im goin to stick with my cheaper solution even though it wont be able to fit in the drive bay. |
