2 X 172watts/ 2 x 120 watts?
Ok, if I'm going to power them at 18v 10amps would the 2 X 172watter be much better? How difficult would it be to dissipate the heat of 2 X 172 watt peltiers? I'll be making a block something like Xjinn's except that it won't have as many small chanels. I'm also using a bong to cool the water. Which would be more realistic you think?

the more power the better! Seriously tho, you will need a super waterblock and a super power supply to power two 172watt pelts.

Power supplies would be 4 AT power supplies modded as in your article. Heh, I'd have a Power supply tower. As for waterblock, thats what I'm a little afraid of, I know the Dangerden maze2 design would never be able to handle it. I'm also afraid of my bong not being able to handle the heat but if what they say is true then it should be able to.

Hey guys I may have to be running the 2 172 watt pelts at 18v, 9A. 9A from the rated 11A. How much of difference would that make?

it pulls 11Amps at 24V, as you take down the voltage, it pulls less amps anyway. you should be good as far as what it will try to pull at 18V.

Hi. I've not set it up yet and I have not even gotten the pelts yet. I am also still pondering whether to use my Bong cooler or 2 radiators, both like Big Momma but even bigger. Which do you think would work better?

in the next week or 2 i will be setting up my dual 172w rig, using the spir@l and a single heater core with 2 fans + shrouds. i'm pretty sure it'll be enough cooling for me. i'm also using a SEC 1223 powersupply and tweaking it to about 15-16v for the 2 pelts... not the best cooling but for a $90 psu not bad
