Default 8RGA+ or NF7-S for OC?

Which is better to overclock. I think the 8RGA+ would be cause of the high voltages CPU 2.2 RAM 2.9 NB 2.0 or Abits CPU 2.2 (I think) RAM 2.9 but NB is what 1.7? or somehting low.

Input please

The NF7-S Rev 2 is one sweet mobo.

My NF7-S easily does a 222MHz (444 DDR) FSB @ 1.7v....even with the stock northbridge cooling. I have a 512MB stick of OCZ EL PC3500 RAM BTW.

The CPU volt max is 2.3v in the BIOS but it under volts to ~2.2v.

NF7-Sr2. Definitely. I've used them both, and the NF7 is a superior platform all the way around.

NF7-S, Mine works at 225 stock voltage and cooling. Will push it further when I finish a NB block.

Another nice thing about the NF7-S is that it comes with an EIDE->SATA adapter for your hard drive. Freebies are always nice. Make sure you get the revision 2 board. Newegg stocks them.

This probably doesn't apply to you, but the BIOS allows you to change the multiplier even if your cpu isn't unlocked. If your cpu isn't unlocked the system will not boot. You will have to clear the BIOS.

I learned this the hard way, over a period of an hour.
