Default SNAP 4000 accounts reset after battery reseat

I have a SNAP 4000 that has sat dormant for a year. I needed to reset the IP settings to bring it back to life on our DHCP network. I followed the reset steps starting with the clear IP settings, restarted and found nothing in my DHCP logs. I then did the clear all settings options, reset and did nothing. I then opened the case and popped out the bio battery let it set and then put it all back together and powered it on. It then pulled an IP and I was able to get to the main page, However, any login or password that I tried did not work. I tried the last know admin password, nothing, then I tried all the defaults, nothing. I then read somewhere that the battery keeps all account information, which I would have saw that earlier, Does anyone have a suggestion on my next step. Is there a another default login and password in the event this happens?

Can anyone help me?
Thanks

You will need to use assist to locate and do the intial setup. If you do not have it let me know. It normally comes with the OS updaters.

When I got mine from ebay it was already configured, He didnt reset it before he sent it. I unplugged , pulled the battery and then held in the power button for 10 seconds, then replaced the battery and plugged the unit back in and turned it on. I was then able to use Assist to set the unit up like it was brand new.

Using the Assist program that came on the install cd, i sees the server but has a ? mark over the server icon, and the initial setup button is grayed out. I also downloaded the the 4.0 upgrade and used its version of assist.exe and I can click the initial setup button, when i enter the requested information and it connects to the snap server, is prompts for an Administrator Verify. I try the new password i just set, nothing, i tried my olds ones, nothing, is there a default? Then i get a unable to connect to server. ?????

When you reset to factory you cleared the password. Default user: admin, PW: none/blank.

Yes, unpluged, pulled battery, held power button in for more than 10sec. Whats funny is that the SNAP server's name has been reset. so it must be doing something right, but just not letting anyone in.
