It's a nice product from DD, at a reasonble price point considering the size. I could list the things I don't like but most are minor
some general points...... It's much larger than in truth it needs to be imo, and it's also pretty heavy (680g) It also has to be said the 6800 is not a difficult card to fully watercool try an X800 XT or wait until the nvidia cards get 512mb ram,... (ram on both sides??)

What concerns me about it is are they going to redesign the card for the PCIe version? My guess is that the people who are buying and watercooling that sort of card are also the people who would be interested in running dual 6800s in SLI, but the way the barbs are oriented, you couldnt get hoses on with two cards one above the other...

Looks pretty full that rig M.D.K.
Been thinking about the same (Seporate CPU setup + NB GPU setup). In my Raidmax Tower. I have made room for it, but have not desided if it`s worth it or not (DD Z-chip - Magnum GPU - DD Floppy reservoir - L20II - Waterchill Radiator Rev1 - DD Z-chip + CPU block - Custom Tank - Aquabee UP2000L - Black Ice Extreme Chrome - CPU block). I will loose the bottom PCI`s though, since I have to place a pump there. And I am not sure if it actually is worth it compared to using the same radiator btw the CPU block and GPU/NB (CPU - Black Ice Extreme Chrome - GPU - NB - Tank - UP2000L - WC Rev1 Radiator - CPU). I have room 4 a custom tank btw the Motherboard and the UP2000L pump at the front (simular to the Eheim push on reservoirs). Anyways nice setup |

You have a fast enough processor, go for a new graphics card instead. Then it will be an excellent system.

This is my setup with a passive rad made with 4 heatsinks epoxied together... work in progress(still have to make it look better, mabe paint it black) Other than that it keeps my water around 39 full load and very close to ambient at idle.
barton 2500 to 3200xp o the sides are acylic pieces sealed on all sides with silicone( lost of it)...with the inside of the heatsinks formed in a maze channel desing to get the water flowing past the half drilled holes on the top and bottom heatsinks... |
