Pump Res (Pics)
Decided to make a little pump res. Both so that any small bits of air left in my system after a fill don't go around and to reduce restriction at the inlet.
Pics: Just need to drill and tap an inlet barb hole, and silicon the joins (Though they are pretty tight as it is) |

Looks great pippin, is there a performance increase even if you're using tubes sized correctly to your pump by doing this?

As I understand it, it will not be huge, but it will be better having the inlet in free water rather than tubing.
A procooling article (which actually uses two versions of one of my systems from years ago) is the best explaination I've seen. On page two it describes issues of cavitation etc. |
