uhh.. I'm poor and can't afford any cad software seeing as how they are ussually mad money , = p.. are there any programs that let you do 3d design and rendering that don't cost anything --bikr

Actually it turns out , that 3d canvas sucks.. dont' d/l it it tries to re register a bunch of files and then crashes lol.. --bikr

Actually now3d needs msoffice and I don't have the cd with me now. What about any of your comments, maybe the following image may help.

Those are the channels of the block zoomed in!!
I made them so you can be able to see them better

The flow path is good, the swirling is good, but you don't have any fins where the heat comes from, so I'm guessing that you're going for jet inpingement, and the swirls are for secondary cooling (i.e. cooling whatever is left to cool).

If that's the case, you should do almost as well as a Swiftech block.

The challenge then is to decide how much thick to make the base. Anyone want to enlighten us?

get it aas thin as possible... .05 of an inch is a little too thin, but .07 or even .08 inches is about right. I've had great sucess with those depths.

What do you think if I add like a cross in the middle, so that the centre circle is divided in 4 quadrants??

Would this increase or decrease the performace of the block.
But if I do so, I have to forget the jet inpingement, true or false??
