Default Tbred XP1800 vcore-mod?

Hi all!

I just received my brand new T-bred-A XP1800, and i really want to give this baby a high vcore.

Is it possible to go pass the +0.1 volt increase, if my motherboard doesnt support this? (Soltek SL-75DRV5).

Is there any wiremod og bridgepainting i could look into, to increase the vcore further?

I have no idea how it clocks yet, but if you want, i could keep you up to date later today (still at work).

You need a voltmod.

Try this forum . If it's not there, make a thread, someone will probably answer you.

The vast majority of amd mobos use the HIP6301 voltage regulator, which is easy to volt mod (well if you can solder). Look around at the ICs on the mobo and see if you spot HIP 6301 near the CPU socket or the mosfets.

if you hate soldering you can just connect up some of the bridges on the cpu itself

this page has it all (yes I do have that page bookmarked, yes I do have over 1000 bookmarks )

Well, i guess i was lucky, cuz allthough the CPU is running at default 1.5 volt, i can still crank it up to 1.85 volts, which would be the same as giving a Palomino 2.1 volt.

I havent had the time to really test the CPU yet, but right now it's running at 1817Mhz @ 1.65 volt. As soon as i get off work today, i'll give it 1.85, and try to reach 1900Mhz.

I guess a XP1600 AGOIA would be a better clocker, but this new tbred XP1800 is actually surprisingly cool. It runs 2 degrees celcius cooler than my old XP1800 Palomino, at a room temperature thats 1 degree warmer.
