Heatsink/ Heat Pipe / ThermoSiphon Cooling The cat will only make the mistake of putting its paw by your HSF once. :) Also the place to discuss the new high end heat pipe goodness.

Aluminum and chrome fans

So who has first hand experience with the polished aluminum fans I'm seeing everywhere now? If the specs are true, these are quite and fairly powerful ... but it almost seams to be too good to be true.

Dimensions: 125x125x25mm
* Current: 0.38A
* Wattage: 1.74W
* Airflow: 79.14 CFM
* Speed: 2000 RPM
* Noise (dB): 30 dBA
* Bearing Type: Single Ball Bearing
* Frame: Polished Aluminum
* Fan Blades: Chromed plastic
* Connector 4-Pin Molex

30 dBA is as quiet as low speed panaflows, but with 10 more CFM! Can somebody confirm if they're really that good?
