ECU, it's all done by a machine, the price still seems really low to me though I have to admit

Here is the way I had to set mine up, maybe you saw some of these snaps before I had posted. Next time I'll go inside a taller case.

jim: pretty sweet. I've got an Inwin Q500 tower. I'm going to move the HD cage from the front to above the PSU (I'll have to hack it up a bit, though ) The rad fits in the bottom from w/ an inch or two to spare. (the rad's 11" high!) The only question is depth. the rad + fans = about 4" thick, and I had thought about using an adaptor of sorts to move the fans and inch or so away from the rad, and have the fans suck air through... Bottom line: where on earth am I going to stick the pump? I hear the 1250's are big.

Yeah, I don't see it either. I looked at advanceautoparts.com, but they had no info on international orders. autozone.com 's site seems to be down right now....

your right, and they have them in their catalog. FYI, the Econoline is a full size van. Might help to know when searching.

I looked at NAPA but I can't recomend them for overseas since they don't ship to Alaska even. Yet they have 6 stores here in Anchorage. and their parts are cheaper online.

Yeah-
I can if you figure out the postage or assist me with it. I don't need anything for doing this, Auto zone is 10 minutes away so is the USPS. I still have my box so I can just go get two of the same I have, that's the one you are looking for right?

I think they were $27.99 plus tax, got to dig up the receipt.

Pirate-
You got a bathroom scale you can put the core with the box on? I am guessing about 3.5 pounds.

nope... sorry. But two cores in a box should be around seven lbs.

That's what I like about you guys always making me laugh. LMAO

Well, ready for a LOOOOOOOOOng story?

Firstly I mounted the heater core on the rear of the case with the inlets at the bottom. Took some snaps as things progressed.
Later on I changed it and mounted it with the inlets at the top, since the tubing (copper) didn't work out with the inlets down at the base of the case. And I took snaps of that too.

Then I read the post here about someone wanting a core with BOTH inlets at 5/8" or something along those lines. So I dug through my folder with the cooling snaps and put the nice clean one up on the posting site with the inlets at the bottom: on Andale.

Posted the snap here with the inlets postioned at the bottom, as they were when I first mounted the core, BUT the gremlins wouldn't allow the entire snap to post up here on ProForum! The bottom of the image kept getting cut off, so you couldn't see the "barbs". ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR

So I went back edited the g.d. snap by inverting it 180 degress so the inlets (which is what was the point of interest here) were positioned on the TOP and I posted it again on Andale, and then put it up on the Forum. The base of the image is still chopped off.

Boy what a PITA huh?

Jim
