Default battery effect ??in water cooling system?joe?

WILL? Can someone please exsplain a little bit about this "battery effect" from mixing the different type's of metals? ,alum,copper,brass, etc..is this a real concern? and does water wetter prevent it?.......thanx

Yep its a BIG concern! it will corrode Copper RAPIDLY.. you can tell cause Cu Oxide is water soluble so it coats yer lines with a green gunk. Al is not water soluble but will corrode none the less. Brass will turn black.

Use water wetter and that stops or greatly reduces the amount of corrosion that happens.

Was that directed to me? or were you saying well? I don't know too much about the watercooling goodness yet, I am a semi-newbie to the goodness of H20 ...
