What is that meter/needle on top of the thermal simulator?
The pressure gauge is useless. It remains @ 0 psi.

That's what I would expect it to do since you have no pressure to measure at that point!

A normal bong will not cool that loop adequately. Think nuclear cooling tower.

It's a good thing we didn't listen. We have prooved that one can cool adequetely with less towers.

10q, besides this, we are improving the look of the case in which we are going to house our computer with the squirrel water block. We had a normal case (my old computer case the one which came with my old p2), we opened a window (quite a big one for a normal sized case) and we put a red neon tube inside. We also sprayed the case and now it's got a chrome like colour. I like it very much. Once we will post a pic (i have no digital camera, so when i take it to hara's house we will post up a pic of it too )

They are similar to shower heads except the water turns into mist instead of a stream of water. They use it at grocery stores to keep the vegtables moist. And they use them in Palm Springs arounf the building so when people walk into the stores they are cooled down a little. 120F there.

Problem with those it you would loose gobs of flow rate as they are very restrictive.

I had that idea before. The problem is that in reality it is very difficult to implement. It is too late at this stage. The project is due next saturday.

Have you had any trouble with the spray formation?, with it hitting and running down the inside of the tube instead of staying in droplets?. That was the biggest problem I had when I looked into bongs. I had to flatten out the brass showerhead to make the spray straighter |||| instead of fanning out to much // \\ ...

Actually, we had to drill about a thousand holes. That's how we solved the problem.

To be more specific, we widened all the holes of the shower heads, that could help to cope up with the flow and to help the water to spead much less

cool!, sorry for not reading all the way through the thread, YET! ...

Do you need all that height?, have you thermal tested with different heights as well?...

Have you seen this news post by airspirit?

In the liquid cooling section they speak about a working aplication of your same principles, on cambridge university.

someone has reported the post for you showing your name and face on the net. personally I think you're probably very proud of the system, and have thought about the fact some 63 year old man wearing a pink g-string might see your pictures, I'm not going to edit the posts, but just so you're aware....
