705 n Dell storage unit

I purchased a used storage unit and the assist software will not see the unit. Could someone please let me know how to have the software see it. I have reset the defaults several times and the led light react as they should according to the manual. Thanks for your thoughts.

Make sure you have a cat5 cable. If assist does not see it, it is not on the network. Check your router logs to see if its there. Also make sure your not mac filtering and have enough address open. Are you using the reset procedure from this site or other source. There has been one floating around that is not correct.
