Default newbie needs help

My friend and I have been building our own computers for a while, but we never really got into cooling and overclocking. We want to start a local business next summer and i need some info. My friend is working on water cooling, and im working on high performance air cooling. Im ordering a 1.333 Ghz athlon soon with a GeForce 2 GTS 64mb viseo ram.

I needed to know what in the computer is the most significant source(s) of heat, and what your thoughts on an air chiller combined with ducts and high performance heatsinks is. Please help me, i have a bet with my friend who can get the best performance for cheapest as a goal fo5r our business. thanks all who reply.....

vid card ram, vid card gpu, north gate, cpu, hard drive, psu, ram, other cards. BTW, he will win temp wise, and possibly price wise if you go into chillers.

Ain't no such thang. You will have condensation and such to worry with making air chillers. Plus they will use a lot of power. Furthermore, the specific heat capactiy of water is much better than that of regular air so if i were you, i'd head the way of your friend.

about the best you can do with air would be an alpha 8045 with forced ducted outside air.

ex: high flow 92mm fan - duct - alpha 8045 with high flow 80mm.

= LOUD!
