Default new res

What do you guys think of this res/air trap so far?
Also I can't decide whether to put this intake near the top of bottom, any ideas?

Put the intake closer to the bottom below the water line. Otherwise you will be plagued with air or foam in your water lines. Other than that, it looks like a good start.

Got some dimensions?

I'd put the inlet through the clear part, somewhere around the middle, it depends on the size.

It looks about 2"

I like! Clean, simple, clear. I agree with bigben, put the intake around the middle.

Yep intake in the middle.
If you can try a "tangent" intake to produce less bubbles thanx to a laminar flow on the res wall. And if you're lucky enough - depends on res bottom configuration - you might end up with a tiny vortex.
