are two radiators better than one?
I'm currently designing my first wc system, I'm going to use a setup similar to Joe's pro mini. the water flow dirction is reservoir > pump > radiator > block > reservoir. The parts I'll be using are danger den maze2 water block, danger den cube, and the ehiem 1048 pump. I'm not going to use peltiers yet.
Would I improve cooling if I added a second radiator? The flow direction would the same as above, but it will go through 2 radiator before reaching the block. Also could the pump handle this? |

People have often argued that very high flow rates don't really help because they reduce the time water spends in a radiator. I've always wondered if haveing two parallel radiators to reduce flow by 1/2 for a segment would show gains at higher flow rates.
Of course with a solid radiator I think you are well past the point of dimishing returns. We are most likly talking about 1 or 2 degrees C here. |
