Which metal to use???

Hay

Just wondering which metal to use apart from copper (cost to much) . im going to use sub-zero cooling so im not worryed about thermal conductivity. I also want it to look nice and shiny.

I was thinking about:
Brass (looks nice when its been shined up)
Aluminium
and maybe Stainless Steel

Aluminium oxidises very easily and you won't get a "nice and shiney" finish on it.

I would actually go with a copper based alloy. Though to be fair I would go with pure copper or silver.

You have the money to go with phase change gear or a chiller, but not for some copper?

And copper shined up and then sealed properly so it does not oxidize again looks great.

Watsa matta? You never see anyone put a $1000 stereo in a $500 car?

No matter how cold, going with stainless steel is not advised. It's thermal conductivity is horrible among metals. Due to its nickel and chromium content, it's also pretty high on the galvanic chart meaning it tends to corrode most other metals. Yeah, corrosion inhibitors mitigate this concern, but so does sticking with similar metals throughout the system.
