right now?
12.5 x 188 = 2350

initially I played with the 15x multi but 15 x 157 'felt' quite a bit slower. If it can operate at 15 x 166 at a lower V after some 'cooking' on my part I'll run it there. BTW the max V I tried was 2.19...I started to get nervous and just quit. I can crank it up to an indicated 2.3but have no desire to go there.
the 2550 was 15 x 170

I agree. From everything I've seen, running above 1.85 seems to be "asking for it". Mem volt at 2.8 or 2.9, but not higher seems to be in order.

you should get a dremel and unlock the multiplier. Be daring with that dremel.

Nah use a front door key, only thing to unlock a 6entuim is a frontdoor key, you'll prolly need the 9remel to get it of the key ring though ...

to unlock the multiplier ratio on amd xp 2100+ (i think) you need a dremel and to be daring by fooling the computer into thinking its a 1600+, that will unlock it.

He's using a 2400+, meaning he only has to link the last L3 bridge. Dremeling is bad. Very bad.

They were using an Engraver set at the lowest setting as well, not a Dremel!...
If I was to do that I'd use either a scalpal blade(very gently!!) or some high graded 1200+ wen&dry folded over into a 'sharp edge' and gently(!!) sand the trace away. the trouble is there are traces under the surface as well. when joining the bridges to 'unlock' an XP you have to be careful not to sand away to much of the green laminate surface, if you do there is a copper trace underneath that if the 'electrical conduct paint' touches it outside of the bridges 'oval' shaped enclosure) it locks the multiplyer at 11x (I think it's 11 anyway)...

airspirit was correct,
it is a 2400 and all I had to do was jump the one bridge. I painted it but my buddy did the wire trick.
pretty easy.
