Default Res... v2.0 --rant--

Well.... I just made my v1.0 Res for my watercooling system. Finally got it all sealed up, madeit out of 1/8" lucite and used a Dremel to cut, and Marine epoxy to seal it all up.

I get it to the point where I'm gonna finish the edges, and add holes for my intake/output and drain/fill holes brought me a sheet of 1/4" 24x48 sheet of lucite.

My mom told me that the first one was a "prototype" so I knew how to do it, and this is what I should use. (she makes fountains outa glass and plastic)

So now, I get to make a new res... Oh well... the glue on my old res wan't exactly perfect, so that's ok. (I'll post a pic in a min)

Oh well, this first one has been a learning experiance in cutting the stuff. This time, I can score/snap this stuff to get a perfect edge, the thin stuff had the be machined, it was to flimsy and would break.

Can't wait to get this done. Then half of my wood case will be complete!

EDIT: Here's res 1.0

heh, whats wrong with v1.0? it doesn't look bad at all, although some of the glue is a little messy, what you could do in v2.0 is use masking tape around all the edges, so you can just pull it off and take all the glue off immediately

I'm just gonna make a new one, I'd feel better about the 1/4" lucite anyways.

Thanks though, I thought v1.0 kinda sucked

If I explain now... it won't make sense... When I get my case built, and it installed, you will see...

I'm hoping to actually impress people with this when I'm done.
