120mm fan for radiator
Can someone give me some good recommendations for some 120mm fans for 120mm radiators. Preferably 100+ cfm - lower noise prefered of course.
Right now I have a 108 cfm delta and sunon both about 42dba I was looking at a nice 130 cfm YS-Tech (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ystech120mm.html) Has a 3pin tail which would work nice with my rheobus - tho adding one isn't a problem either way. |

I use Panaflo with great success.
I use the L1A which is Not 100cfm but it does great with any heatercore and is very silent. I think its around 70 cfm. You could use 2 of them one to push and one to pull with shroud and be all good. I dont think its right to get a 100cfm fan a 7v mod it, you should just get L1A if your thinking of 7v mod for silent operation. I buy mine from www.directron.com also.

I use the Sunon 120mm high output fan. It is rated for 108cfms @ 42dbs.
The fan is not increadibly quiet but ever since I Vmoded it to 7V, its been almost silent. I can hear my pump "hum" better than I can hear the fan.

When you say Vmod @7V you mean the 7V trick?

How much CFMs does a 120mm fan do at 7V? I'll probably have it on my rheobus to control anyway.
Has anyone tried those dual blade deltas with the stationary fins that direct the air flow? Are those any good? Last edited by tok3n; 06-21-2003 at 04:11 AM. |

the delta focused flows are very powerful, and *VERY* loud. if you dont like noise, those are not the fans for you lol.
