Wow, that highspeedpc link is really cool! A little pricey, but neat.

I've been doing this for a while. I copied Gerwin's radiator design, except I soldered. Works quite well, and cost...what, $8?

honestly, i've been bombarded with work again, so i haven't really had time to pursue this more. i'll try to do some research sometime this week on the tubing. unfortunately (for my hobbying anyways ) i have a project that will keep me quite busy for about a month, so we'll see.

although at this point i'm fairly tempted just to buy the premade innovatek. with the other mods i'd like to do, they will take time enough and building a radiator may just drive me up the wall... lol.

at any rate, keep us posted, i'd like to know how it turns out. my main interest in using watercooling is ocing, but of course any sound reduction is a huge plus.

So here it is. Don’t laugh, its held together with bits of wood
To resume: 50m of 4/6mm coiled LDPE pipe, 28 parallel runs coupled with 16/18mm copper manifolds. Total surface area: 0.94m2.

Preliminary tests indicate very low flow resistance, and 7°C delta T at 45W (slightly worse than the hoped 5°C)

I've just installed it, along with "cascade style" block and Hydor S30 pump, and finally got round to registering SHDN (not entirely painfree process, but hopefully a sound investment) so proper tests are highly imminent
