Default Aquaextreme pump = mcp600?

I was wondering if anyone knew if the aquaextreme pump at cooltechnica was the same revision as the mcp600 with the ceramic head and overally better quality. I want the aquaextreme because of customizable, large fittings, but do not want to sacrifice quality.
