Do you know where I can purchase that?

Or when it will be able to be bought?

And most importantly, does anyone know what kind of radiator did you use to make that? I'd rather buy the radiator itself than pay double for all that shiny stuff.

I emailed HWLabs to get a bit more info.

Performance wise, capacity should be double that of the Black Ice Extreme (which is nice)

Production will begin in 2 weeks

Cost will be $75-$95 though I suspect that willl be for the black version.

I assume the gold version will go to retail as well, but at a price.

ps coldflare, the rad is made by HWLabs specifically for PC water cooling. As I've already said, they will be available in black but they are still expensive.

That's the price you pay for having a rad designed specifically for the job.

Oh alright, I might been a bit confused, I always thought they bought the rads from a 3rd party and soup them up.

That rad will probably blow anything on the market away. The BIXr2 is an extremely good performer (and can handle an obscene amount of wattage), so I can only imagine an extended version of the same rad will provide more cooling than even a high power multi-pelt rig would ever need. Add in the fact that 4x120mm fans can be attached (push/pull 2 per side), and you could run those at extremely low voltages and still get outstanding cooling. This will be a boon for the silent PC folks (imagine four panaflos at 2-3V ... absolutely silent). Need I add that it looks bad@ss?

Hrmm... I don't know... I'm happy with the two BiXs that I got second hand for around 38 each

But yeah, if I were going to get something that large, I'd just get a heater core and get it plated.

hmmm, bigben2k? wasn't that you that was praising them heatercore4u guys couple of weeks ago? bad xperience..?

anyway, i'm all with you; for the price of that black ice, u could buy 3 brand new carheatercores that have +/- same dimensions. u just have some more hastle to mount them in a not ghetto way. some call that part of the fun.

I don't believe that I ever praised them, but they do have a nicely laid out website: BlackWidow had no problems downloading it all!

You guys still onto that ancient stuff? I'm with a plasma core driven neural network quantum computer. Basically its just a 2 X 2 ich glowing crystal cube that telepathically plugs straight into your brain. But I'm upgrading to its intracranial implant portable version...

OCPC have had the Abyss out for a while now
- the Bix2 looks similar, but the OCPC rads have Threaded ports for different barb configurations
ALso if you in the UK, Abyss black has a retails around £65 .
